The Starr Career Development Center (SCDC) is Baruch’s on-campus career services office. They provide services from career consulting, resume reviewing, mock interviewing, and law school assessments. While these appointments can be scheduled on Handshake, the office is also open to walk-ins. Additionally, events are hosted, such as job and internship fairs, workshops, employer information sessions, and guest speaker panels.

Technology Leadership Development Program

The Technology Leadership Development Program (TLDP) is dedicated to the professional development and advancement of all students, regardless of year, with a strong passion for a career in technology. The program will provide students exposure to include cyber security, data analytics, and information technology.

Financial Leadership Program

The Financial Leadership Program (FLP) is a program dedicated to the professional development of juniors and sophomores interested in careers in finance. Interviews are entirely behavioral and market-outlook-based: one group interview centered around market knowledge and one individual.

Rising Starr Sophomore Program

The Rising Starr Sophomore Program is an opportunity for rising sophomores to gain a tighter grasp on pursuing their professional goals. Students participate in events such as developing a personal pitch, mock interviews, 1-on-1 training with networking, and case competitions.

Max Berger Pre-Law Fellows

The Max Berger Pre-Law Fellows is an intensive law school preparatory program geared toward assisting and propelling students to gain admission to the nation’s top law schools. Upon acceptance, students are assigned an attorney mentor in the practice area of their choosing.

While distinctly a law-focused program, many past fellows have drawn considerable success from its offerings.
